Member Roles & Uploader Status
Learn how member roles work on Tune-Seek and how active users may request uploader status.
Member Roles
All regular members on Tune-Seek are Seekers by default. Additional roles are assigned manually by the administration based on activity, reliability, contribution, and overall involvement in the site.
Roles are not automatic. They are given at the administrator’s discretion.

Every regular user starts as a Seeker. This is the default role for all members, and no application is required.

Uploader Expectations
Uploaders help keep Tune-Seek active, organized, and useful for visitors. Typical expectations for uploaders include:
- posting releases in the correct sections;
- avoiding duplicates;
- checking links before posting;
- fixing broken or incorrect posts when possible;
- staying active.
How to Request Uploader Status
If you want to become an Uploader, you may contact the administrator through the contact form and briefly state:
- your username;
- that you want uploader status;
- what kind of content you plan to post.
Important: requesting a role does not guarantee approval. The administration may review your activity, behavior, reliability, and contribution history before assigning any additional role.
Role Removal: all additional roles are assigned manually. They may also be removed if a member becomes inactive, repeatedly breaks site rules, or no longer fits the purpose of the role.
