What This Section Is For
This section is for users who want to request specific albums, releases, editions, genres, or rare materials. Members can post requests for music they are looking for, while uploaders or other users may respond if they have the material.
This section helps build interaction and gives the community a direct way to suggest content for the Tune-Seek archive.
Album Requests
Request studio albums, rare editions, remasters, reissues, promo versions, regional releases, or out-of-print records.
Demo & EP Requests
Ask for old demos, self-released EPs, underground CD-R releases, early recordings, or rare pre-album material.
Genre / Scene Requests
Suggest specific genres, local scenes, countries, labels, time periods, or underground movements for future archive posts.
Other Rare Finds
Request soundtracks, compilations, singles, promo tracks, live recordings, unreleased material, or forgotten digital releases.
What to Include in Your Request
- artist or band name;
- album, EP, demo, single, compilation, or release title;
- approximate year or decade;
- country, city, label, or scene, if known;
- genre or similar artists;
- preferred format or quality, if important;
- Discogs, YouTube, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Rate Your Music, old forum, or archive links;
- any extra details that may help identify the release.
Tip: the more details you provide, the easier it is for uploaders or other users to help. Even small clues such as old file names, cover images, catalog numbers, MySpace mentions, or partial tracklists can be useful.

- “Looking for a 2002 nu-metal demo by a band from Texas. I only know the track title ‘Falling Down’.”
- “Requesting a rare trip-hop CD from the late 90s, preferably 320 kbps or FLAC if available.”
- “Searching for an underground rapcore EP that was once listed on MySpace around 2004.”
- “Looking for a soundtrack promo version with bonus tracks not included on the regular release.”
