Blindfault was a Danish alternative and hardcore band formed in Copenhagen in 2001. Known for combining the raw aggression of hardcore with the dense, intense power of thrash-influenced metal, the group became a notable presence on the Danish underground metal scene. The band released only one album, Talking to Deaf Ears, in 2005. Blindfault played an aggressive, brutal style of nu-metal that could, at its most intense, be compared to American genre giants such as Slipknot. The comparison feels especially fitting when the band reaches full speed. In those moments, Blindfault truly excels, delivering pounding drums, crushing distortion, and an outstandingly harsh vocal performance.
