Rikets is an American alternative and industrial metal band from Cleveland, Ohio. Formed around 2003–2004, the group became known for its heavy, aggressive sound that fused elements of nu-metal and industrial metal, drawing comparisons to acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Machine Head, and Alice in Chains. The band was founded by vocalist and guitarist Scott Rose following the breakup of his previous project, and the lineup was later strengthened by musicians connected to well-known names in the alternative scene, including Switched.

Their breakthrough came in 2004 with the debut EP Anything for the Devil, recorded at the renowned Cleveland-based Spider Studios. The release helped Rikets build a strong reputation in the underground, leading to extensive touring and a series of intense music videos, including clips for “Infected and Controlled” and “The Murder.” The band’s style stood out for its combination of mechanical heaviness, dark atmosphere, and emotionally charged vocals, giving their music both raw power and a distinctly modern edge.

At the end of 2010, Rikets temporarily disbanded due to internal disagreements. However, the group returned in 2021 and resumed activity, once again giving fans new material. Among their later releases is the EP Tales From The Construct Alphaa, Vol. 1, which marked another chapter in the band’s history and confirmed that Rikets had not lost their intensity or creative drive.
